Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore dies at age 61

Kenyans on social media are mourning there death of Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Bob Collymore.

Collymore died at the age of 61 on Monday 1 July at his home in Nairobi after a long battle with cancer.

Safaricom released a statement confirming his death.

In October 2017, Bob had proceeded to the UK to receive treatment to Acute Leukemia and returned in July 2018 to resume his duties.
